Wartungsmechaniker / Technicien maintenance

About this role

Either French or German is required. You do not need both languages.

You keep critical energy production systems running for industrial customers in Luxembourg. The company supplies heat, cooling, compressed air and backup power from its own installations. This is a hands-on maintenance role with direct on-site intervention when a fault occurs.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain energy systems for heat, cooling, backup power, compressed air and steam
• Identify faults, diagnose issues and repair systems by replacing functional components
• Carry out electrical and mechanical repair work during daily operations
• Perform larger preventive and corrective maintenance interventions
• Support the commissioning of new installations
• Maintain operating documentation and keep technical records accurate

Requirements

• Good French or good German is required. One of the two languages is enough
• Ideally a technical qualification in electrical engineering, electromechanics or refrigeration technology
• Knowledge of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics or control systems is a clear plus
• Several years of experience in a technical maintenance environment is an advantage
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Practical, reliable working style with interest in critical energy installations
